Watch Now on Outdoor Channel’s YouTube Channel Featuring Outdoor Channel and Sportsman Channel On-Air Personalities
Renowned outdoor enthusiast and TV personality Michael Waddell of “Bone Collector” fame added a playful twist to the SHOT Show experience with a new short video series, "On a Roll,” available to watch now on YouTube. Filmed live during SHOT Show, this series features Waddell and several personalities from Outdoor Channel and Sportsman Channel engaging in a variety of fun activities.
In each segment of "On a Roll," guests joined Waddell in rolling dice to determine their game-style activity. The first roll picks an animal—ranging from wild hog to bear to elk. The second roll decides what the guest will do with that animal, with options including Pictionary, story time, or sharing a recipe. This unique format brings an exciting and unpredictable element to each video, showcasing the guests' creativity and knowledge in an entertaining environment.
"Both Outdoor Channel and I wanted to create something that would show a different side of each network’s favorite on-air personalities," said Michael Waddell. "We had a spot right on the show floor, so we had a live audience, which made for a fun couple of days. Turns out the Pictionary part was the most engaging – and eye opening. Some of my peers in the outdoors may need to spend more time on their drawing skills, while others sure surprised me!”
Jon Brunson of “Addicated to the Outdoors” had to draw an elk in 20 seconds; Melissa Bachman of “Winchester Deadly Passion” shared her best way to prepare wild hog and Pat and Nicole Reeve of “Driven with Pat & Nicole” explained how Nicole took out a big Bull Elk that already had a crossbow bolt in its neck.
These short videos, filmed live at the SHOT Show, are now available on Outdoor Channel’s YouTube channel, with new episodes set to be released periodically. Fans can look forward to seeing their favorite Outdoor Channel and Sportsman Channel personalities in a whole new light as they tackle the challenges set by the dice.
