These courses are designed for modern sporting rifle owners seeking to enhance their handling skills through structured training sessions led by experienced instructors.

Rifle 101 – June 20, 2024

Rifle 101 is perfect for those new to modern combat rifles. This foundational course will cover the proper use of safety, manual of arms, magazine changes, etc. At the end of this course, you’ll be able to safely and fluidly manipulate any combat rifle.

Rifle 102 – June 28, 2024

Building on the skills acquired in Rifle 101, the Rifle 102 course will focus on improving shooting metrics and advanced engagement techniques. Note that Rifle 101 is a prerequisite for this course. The course covers multi-string shooting (the ability to fire multiple shots in quick succession), multiple target engagement, varied distance target engagement, and more.

GRITR Range strongly recommends beginner rifle owners complete basic rifle safety training first. GRITR Basic Rifle Safety courses are held twice a month and can be checked on the GRITR Range event calendar.
