The Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks Region 2 Citizen Advisory Committee (CAC) and FWP staff will host a meeting with local legislators on Monday, Dec. 9 at the Missoula FWP office (3201 Spurgin Rd.) beginning at 6 p.m.
At the December meeting, FWP will present on the agency’s proposed budget and legislation. Legislators from the west-central Montana area were invited to attend. Similar open houses are being held over the next few weeks in each region of the state.
The CAC is a general advisory committee that provides a forum for communication and feedback on diverse issues, from wildlife and fisheries management to access, state parks, outdoor recreation, and law enforcement. The committee is designed to have a membership that represents a variety of Montana communities and natural resource interests.
FWP has CACs in each of its seven administrative regions, and all CAC meetings are open to the public. Learn more about the Region 2 committee here.
