A 4.25” (Carry) and 5” (Duty) hammer forged barrels are still standard, but new for this year on the Tisas 1911 Duty and Carry models is a 193 Picatinny Rail, an extended slide stop and 1/3 fiber optic front sight (co-witness).

“The demand for quality 1911’s in various configurations continues to grow,” stated SDS Arms/Tisas USA CEO Chris DiCenso. “We had great success with our Duty and Carry models in 2024, so it made sense to continue to up the bar with them and enhance them for the user’s benefit.”

The Carry model has an overall length of 7.9” and weighs 32 oz, while the 1911 Duty has an overall length of 8.6” and weighs 38 oz.
