Outdoor groups pool resources to expand opportunities for individuals with special needs.

Buckmasters and Big Dreams Outdoors have announced a new partnership that will help expand both organizations’ missions and commitment to making the great outdoors accessible to everyone.

This collaboration marks a significant step toward raising awareness about the unique opportunity Big Dreams Outdoors provides individuals with special needs to experience the great outdoors — whether through hunting, fishing or simply connecting with nature.

Both Buckmasters and Big Dreams Outdoors are committed to shifting perceptions about disabilities and ensuring that everyone, regardless of their challenges, has an opportunity to participate in outdoor adventures.

“Having been a part of so many deer hunts including young people with illnesses and physical challenges, I can say with full confidence that there is no obstacle that willing volunteers and a dedicated heart can’t overcome,” said Buckmasters founder Jackie Bushman. “We’ve wanted to expand our efforts to help these kids for a long time, and this new partnership with Big Dreams Outdoors allows us to accomplish that without reinventing the wheel.”

The folks at Big Dreams Outdoors see it that way, too.
