If you have an artifact you want to know more about, join us at the Archaeology Roadshow at Michigan Archaeology Day.

Bring in your find, and our on-site experts will help you identify the object, learn more about it and explain how you can report potential sites. If it can fit in a shoe box, bring it in.

At this family event, you can also make a clay pot, throw a spear with an atlatl and talk to archaeologists from across the state.

Michigan Archaeology Day 2024 at the Michigan History Museum will be on Saturday, Oct. 5, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. There are no entrance or parking fees for this event. Learn more on our website.
