RICE LAKE, Wis. – Henry Repeating Arms is proud to announce the promotion of Geoff Ader to Chief R&D Engineer.

Starting as an intern in 2017, Ader has risen through the ranks demonstrating creativity and technical engineering knowledge along the way. In his new role, he will be responsible for positioning Henry Repeating Arms as a leader in product innovation through the research and development of designs never seen before in the firearm industry.

“From the moment that Geoff joined us as an intern, it was obvious that he was bringing something different to the table. There’s an element of nonconformity to his work that we admire and respect,” said Andy Wickstrom, President of Henry Repeating Arms. “He overcomes obstacles with creativity while simultaneously improving functional aspects of the design process. I could not be more excited about our future products developed by Mr. Geoff Ader.”

Ader graduated with Honors from Colorado State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering and is the current President of the Society of Firearm Design Engineers (SFDE).
