Families Invited to Explore Archery, Tree-Climbing, Fishing, and More at Free Annual Event
The Keeping Georgia Wild Family Festival is back for another exciting year, bringing outdoor adventure and hands-on conservation education to the Charlie Elliott Wildlife Center in Mansfield, GA. This free, family-friendly event takes place on Saturday, May 17, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., and is co-hosted by the Georgia Wildlife Federation, Georgia Chapter of the National Wild Turkey Federation, FCA Outdoors, and the Georgia DNR–Wildlife Resources Division.
Designed to inspire a love for the outdoors, the festival offers a full day of fun and interactive experiences. Families can try their hand at fishing, archery, tree-climbing, shooting sports, birding, astronomy, and more. Outdoor experts will be on-site to guide and educate participants, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all ages and skill levels.

Getting There:
Charlie Elliott Wildlife Center is located off I-20 at Exit 98. From there, travel south approximately 11 miles on Highway 11. Turn left onto Marben Farms Road—festival signs will direct visitors to the Discovery Area. The event will be held rain or shine.
