Whitetails Unlimited issued grants totaling $635,980 fostering their DEER (Developing Educational and Environmental Resources) Program this past year. The DEER Program consists of organizational initiatives and activities that facilitate the introduction of youth and their families to the great outdoors. This includes events, activities, and educational elements that expose participants to conservation, fishing, hunting, shooting, wildlife management, and environmental education.

Education is a top priority for Whitetails Unlimited. As a strong advocate and supporter of hunter safety and hands-on instruction, they are at the forefront of providing state hunter education instructor associations with the necessary teaching aids to train our nation’s youth. The program also includes contributions to organizations such as BSA, 4-H, and FFA.
