(Grand Island, Nebr.) — Hornady® is pleased to announce the appointment of Jason Slinkard to General Manager of the Tools Division.

In his new position, Slinkard will oversee all design and manufacturing processes throughout the tools division of Hornady.

Joining the team with over 20 years of industry experience, Slinkard has been a leader at several iconic brands such as Hoppe’s, RCBS, and Champion to name a few. He most recently served as the Global Product Line Director of Rimfire, Primers, and Powder for CCI.

“Jason has an unrivaled level of industry expertise and experience that will undoubtedly benefit our company,” said Jason Hornady. “He has a long track record of success managing several brands within our industry. We couldn’t be more excited to have him on our team to lead our tools division,” he added.

Slinkard received a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from the University of Central Missouri. After college, he served as a Master Patrolman for the Warrensburg, Missouri Police Department for six years. He and his wife have two children. He maintains several instructor ratings in LE pistol, shotgun and patrol rifle; he is also an NRA training counselor. In his free time, he enjoys all things shooting – from training new shooters, to competing in 3-gun, sporting clays, and PRS.
