In the New Shooter League, Fontana MCJROTC defeated 3rd place Marcos de Niza AJROTC despite Marcos' high score of the season. The top spots in this League remain steady but could switch up at any time in the top 10 if a team makes a misstep. Places 8 through 10 are separated by less than 1 point total.

Hereford MCJROTC Defeats Mariner AJROTC

Hereford MCJROTC moves into Week 6 with a 3 - 1 record after defeating Mariner AJROTC by less than 3 points last week. Hereford is in 7th place in the New Shooter League, but only 0.25 points behind Picayune NJROTC. This week, Hereford will have a bye, after which they will shoot against 3rd place team Marcos de Niza AJROTC.

ILTexas Katy Westpark Defeats American Legion Post 290

ILTexas Katy Westpark defeated American Legion Post 290 last week to make a record of 2 - 2 for the season. This win came as a welcome relief following their first win of the season in Week 1. In last year's New Shooter League, ILTexas Katy Westpark finished in 6th place with a 6 - 2 record. This week they will shoot against MSYESS.

Palmyra Sportsmen's Association Defeats Grand Rapids Rifle & Pistol Club

In the Air Pistol League, Palmyra Sportsmen's Association won their 3rd game of the season last week after defeating Grand Rapids Rifle & Pistol Club by 27 points. Palmyra's only loss this season has been to first place Air Pistol team NoVA Sharpshooters. This week they will shoot against Seaford NJROTC with hopes of moving in on 3rd place team Lafayette Gun Club.
