Conservation Sales Rep Job Description

This is a remote position that requires a strong background in firearms sales and excellent customer service skills. Someone who is well connected within the Conservation Groups, such as Ducks Unlimited, Delta Waterfowl, Pheasants Forever, Mule Deer Foundation, NWTF, and more.

This position is responsible for selling firearms to conservation groups, providing expert knowledge, and advice on various products. Additionally, they will be expected to maintain a high level of product knowledge and stay up-to-date with company and industry developments.

Responsibilities

  • The Conservation Sales Rep reports directly to the Chief Sales Officer
  • Works closely with conservation groups and individual chapters
  • Facilitates sales and payment acquisition for banquet events
  • Attends conservation group trade shows to develop relationships and drive sales
  • Inputs sales orders into the ERP system for shipping
  • Ensures that FFL requirements accurately completed and audited for all gun sales

Preferred skills and qualifications

  • Five or more years of experience in firearms sales
  • Two or more years of experience working with conservation groups
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other productivity applications and platforms
  • Familiarity with office software and phone systems a plus
