Upper Peninsula staffers from the Michigan Department of Natural Resources will appear live on television Thursday night to answer viewer questions on “Ask the DNR” on WNMU-TV13.
The hour-long program, hosted by Mike Settles, will air live at 8 p.m. EST, Thursday, Nov. 7.
Panelists will include conservation officer Byron Parks, who patrols Houghton County, fisheries biologist John Bauman, Escanaba and wildlife biologist Dave Jentoft, Sault Ste. Marie.
The broadcast will be underwritten by U.P. Whitetails of Marquette County.
With the firearm deer hunting season is coming up fast, questions are expected to focus on forecasts for the season, fall fishing opportunities and more, with the discussion typically wide-ranging based on viewer interests.
Viewers are reminded to leave their name, city and phone number when calling in questions. Those questions not answered on the air will be answered by DNR staffers in returned phone calls following the program.
