GRITR Range, a top-notch shooting range and training facility, is inviting DFW gun owners to join their upcoming Texas License to Carry (LTC) class. The class will be held on Saturday, April 26, from 8 AM to 4 PM, at their location in North Richland Hills.

A Texas DPS Certified Instructor will lead the in-person course, making it a great opportunity for anyone ready to earn their LTC qualification. Once you successfully complete the class, you’ll receive the official License to Carry Handgun Training Certificate (Form LTC-104).

The program includes the following elements:

• Lecture (4-6 Hours): Through engaging presentations and open discussions, the lecture covers essential topics like firearm safety, legal considerations, marksmanship, self-defense decision-making, conflict de-escalation, and proper storage and maintenance of your firearm.
• Written Exam: Participants will complete a written exam to demonstrate comprehension of the course material.
• Range Test: A practical shooting test involves firing 50 rounds at a human-shaped silhouette at 3, 7, and 15 yards.

Important: This class isn’t designed to teach basic shooting skills. You’ll need to be familiar with your handgun before attending.

There are plenty of perks to having a Texas License to Carry, including easier access to public spaces, skipping background checks when buying firearms, reciprocity with over 30 states, a clearer understanding of carry laws, and legal self-defense protections.
