The Maine Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife invites all members of the public to our Winter Extravaganza, one of the department’s Maine Outdoor Programs, this weekend at Range Pond State Park from 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

This event is designed for all identities, backgrounds and experience levels. The department offers a variety of winter and all season activities tailored to a variety of abilities and interests for everyone from seasoned outdoor enthusiasts to a first time adventurer.
The full list of activities includes ice fishing, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, guided walks, campfires, fly tying, knot tying, entertainment, and door prizes. From snowshoeing and cross-country skiing to ice fishing and winter hikes, our experienced instructors will provide support and encouragement, making the outdoors accessible and enjoyable for all.
