Throom® targets are self-healing and designed to replace dangerous, ricochet-causing steel targets. Made of proprietary Shoot-Throo™ polymer, bullets to pass right through leaving only a pinhole where the projectile struck. Throom® Targets react to each shot, providing the shooter with visual feedback as to whether they hit the target. Shoot-Throo™ technology allows Throom® targets to be used indoors; unlike steel targets which will splatter the bullet resulting in pieces coming back at the shooter or scattering to hit range assets.

With several target varieties available, Throom® has something for everyone. Start with our 8” or 6” Round Knockdown™ Targets. These targets react just as they’re named. When hit, the hinge allows the plate to fall over. Just reset to go again. Or, try our 8” or 6” Round Bounceback® targets. These targets flex back when hit, then immediately wobble into the original position, ready to take more shots. Finally, 8” or 6” Round HangTuff® targets hang from the rack, flipping backward and up when struck, then returning into position for follow-up shots. HangTuff® plates react with some serious movement. Throom® also has targets in different shapes and sizes, all made from the same Shoot-Throo™ polymer.

Throom® Targets can take over 1,000 rounds and still maintain integrity, even if the round is as large as .45 caliber, as long as there isn’t a hollow point projectile in the casing. Compare this with a non-reactive paper target, which don’t react and after a few rounds, it becomes difficult to pick out which holes are the new ones. After only a few dozen shots, paper targets get an large area completely shot out and no longer shows bullet hits.

Use Throom’s convenient Alpha Stand™ brackets to assemble a shooting rack onto which the targets can be mounted. These end brackets are made of the same polymer material as Throom® targets and are designed to fit standard 2x4 lumber. The system provides the shooter with a complete ricochet-free shooting platform that holds together even if the bracket is hit as much as 500 times.

Totally weatherproof, Throom® targets are impervious to rain and can tolerate extreme temperatures from -400F to 1200F without issue. Throom® targets won’t discolor or fade over time and are seven times lighter than comparable heavy, bulky, steel targets, making set up and transporting Throom® targets considerably easier and more convenient than steel.

Throom® targets can handle virtually any rifle or handgun ammunition which will result in a visual confirmation of a hit, although some small diameter high speed projectiles and some lighter weight, slower speed projectiles may pass through without visual feedback.
