The Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks Region 1 Citizen Advisory Committee is convening twice in the coming months.
The CAC is meeting Nov. 13 and Dec. 12. Both meetings start at 6:30 p.m. and will be held at the FWP office in Kalispell, 490 N. Meridian. FWP staff will present on chronic wasting disease at the November meeting and legislative proposals will be discussed at the December meeting.
The CAC is a general advisory committee that provides input and feedback to FWP on diverse issues, from wildlife and fisheries management to access, state parks, outdoor recreation, and law enforcement. The committee is designed to have a membership that represents a variety of Montana communities and natural resource interests.
FWP has CACs in every region of the state and all CAC meetings are open to the public. To learn more about the Region 1 CAC, visit https://fwp.mt.gov/aboutfwp/commission-councils-committees/region-1-citizen-advisory-council.
