MOJO® is excited to present the first ever true feeding mallard drake decoy that mimics the exact movements of a real mallard as they rotate their body to feed below the surface. The fully patented decoy has 6 different motions that, based upon actual videos of feeding mallard, accurately mimics the mallards’ feeding motions.

These motions include:

1. Horizontal resting
2. Wiggle
3. Peck
4. Bobbing
5. Feeding Dive/ No Motion
6. Feeding Dive/ with Motion

The decoy utilizes a specially designed digital servomotor coupled to a linkage imparting thrust to a weighted lever arm which has sufficient weight to cause the decoy body to rotate in the water instead of the weighted arm moving. A Master Control Unit controls the power from the battery to the motor in hundredths of a second which causes variable movements between full rotation (feeding dive) and partial rotation, to produce life-like motions. When the motions are mixed, it truly looks like a live feeding mallard.

The interior working parts are mounted on a removable (servo) plate which uses MOJO’s Waterproof Twist Lock System to allow easy removal of all working parts.

The Servo Plate is twist locked into a realistic mallard drake body that itself is molded in two parts: the rear or main body is molded to be waterproof by the twist lock system, and the front of the decoy is molded separately with specially designed openings that allow this part to have minimal buoyancy, to facilitate the front of the decoy diving into the water and at the same time to cause realistic water motion with both water movement and sound.

The decoy is powered by a rechargeable 7.4-volt Li Ion battery and comes complete with a charger.

As with most MOJO® battery powered products, it has a 3-position waterproof master switch on the decoy that provides for run – off – remote, such that it can be used with or without the built-in remote.

When the master switch is in the “remote” mode, the decoy in the standby mode waiting for a signal from the transmitter. Control thereafter is by a 3- button transmitter featuring “run” / “Off”/standby” plus a third “D” button to allow for a one-time action cycle that the user can activate when conditions are such as to not warrant continuous motion.
