If you’re looking to learn more about and try a variety of shooting sports, check out the following events hosted by Eaton County Pheasants Forever. Both will take place at:
Capital Area Sportsmen’s League

Women on the Wing
Saturday, May 3, 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
Beginners and seasoned shooters can learn to shoot or get more comfortable shooting during this event for women ages 14 and older. This is a great opportunity to meet like-minded friends and have a great day together doing something fun and different.
Activities include trap, archery, rifle and pellet gun shooting and more. There will be spectacular gun and outdoor equipment prizes for some lucky attendees.
Cost is $40 per person, which includes lunch and a one-year Pheasants Forever membership. Firearms, ammunition, and eye and ear protection will be provided.
Space is limited to the first 40 who sign up. Pay-at-the-door options are available, but RSVP is required.

Eaton County Youth Day
Saturday, May 17, 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
This event is for youth, 15 years old and under, interested in learning to shoot, safe gun handling, creating habitat or just getting outdoors. Sometimes it’s hard to get started, so here’s a fun and safe introduction! Activities include trap, rifle and pellet gun shooting, archery, a mock hunt and more. There will be a spectacular gun up for grabs, along with other great door prizes.
Cost is $10 per youth, which includes lunch and a one-year Pheasants Forever Ringneck membership. Space is limited. One parent or guardian must be present for all youth during the event.
