The USPSA Production division is easily the most approachable in terms of equipment. These are virtually out of the box guns with minimal enhancements. Even so the national championship chase is highly contested and the manufacturers want the win just as much as the competitors because like in all racing, if you win on Sunday you sell on Monday.
