“Similar to Josh Smith starting MKC from his garage, John and I started Hook & Barrel from our kitchen table and grew it to what it is today. One of the greatest accomplishments with Hook & Barrel is knowing we are effectively broadening the demographic in the hunting, fishing and shooting space,” said Natalie. “But this didn't come easy—there were many sleepless nights, and a lot of blood, sweat and tears. I think the biggest differentiating factor of startups that make it and those that don't is allowing the obstacles, setbacks, and extreme challenges you face (and you will face them) to fuel you for the next decision, the next pivot, the next win. John and I knew we were on to something great, and we just never gave up.”
