National Air Pistol League

The Scopos National Air Pistol League is open to teams of all age groups, both juniors and adults. The top three teams are recognized at the end of the season. To emphasize youth development, a 4 member U21 (under 21) All-Star team is named at the end of the League.

NoVA Sharpshooters from Centreville, VA are the returning league champions this year. They won the league last year with a 8 - 0 record. This team will be defending their two-time title to try for their third win in a row this season.

The 2025 season will see 8 teams competing in the Air Pistol League, with 3 new teams not seen last year. In 2024, returners Lafayette Gun Club took 2nd place with a 6 - 2 record, and Palmyra Sportsmen's Association took 3rd place, going 5 - 3.

National Air Rifle “New Shooter” League

In the Air Rifle "New Shooter" League, teams are composed of “New Shooters,” sporter air rifle athletes in their first year of competition. By focusing on New Shooters, the League seeks to reward not just competition success but also participation and improvement. As such, every team has a chance to earn medals at the end of the League.

Both of 2024's top 2 teams, Jack C. Hays MCJROTC and Saint Thomas Academy are not returning. James Madison AJROTC, who placed 3rd, is the highest ranked returning team. Last year, they finished only .07 League Points behind Saint Thomas Academy.

The 2025 season will see 72 teams competing in the New Shooter League, making this the 2nd largest New Shooter League ever, and a 22% increase over last year.
