Bidding is now open for an online auction of surplus vehicles and equipment from the Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Conservation. Potential bidders can view and bid on auction items at purplewave.com/auction/250128.
The wildlife department is auctioning surplus vehicles and equipment to the public. ODWC has 20 pickups, several trailers, agricultural equipment and miscellaneous appliances listed in this event at PurpleWave.com.
"Agency vehicles are routinely maintained from when they are purchased new until they are turned in for replacement, and are popular items among bidders," said Daniel Griffith, property manager for the wildlife department.
Bidding is open now for anyone interested. Auctions will begin to close at 10 a.m. CST on Tuesday, Jan. 28, 2025. Bidders must register with the online auction site before bidding. A 10% buyer's premium will be added to all winning bids to arrive at the final price. Other auction details, terms and conditions are found on the auction website.
Items are sold to the highest bidder as-is, where-is. Vehicles are located at ODWC's Oklahoma City headquarters and will be available for inspection from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday, Jan. 27, 2025, at 1801 N. Lincoln Blvd., Oklahoma City, OK 73152.

The sale of these items helps bring money back to the wildlife department to help purchase new vehicles and equipment, or to fund conservation activities. Auction buyers help fund fish and wildlife conservation in Oklahoma.
