Baton Rouge, La.—Lipsey’s, a nationally renowned firearms distributor, has formed a charitable partnership with the Special Operations Associations (SOA) that features the new Smith & Wesson Ultimate Carry SOA Edition Lipsey’s Exclusive.

The concept began with a conversation between Andrew Gore, Smith & Wesson Handgun Project Manager, and John Mullins, former MACV-SOG member and decorated Vietnam veteran. The idea was forged to honor and recognize the contributions made by the United States Army MACV-SOG Special Forces group, which endured highly challenging operations throughout the war.

This resulted in the Lipsey’s Exclusive Smith & Wesson Ultimate Carry SOA Editions chambered in 38 Special and 32 H&R Magnum. Built on the successful platform of the 2024 flagship models, the Ultimate Carry SOA revolver features OD Green G10 grips, a gold bead front sight, and the iconic Special Operations logo engraving, which is pronounced on the black frame.

It took no convincing for Jason Cloessner, Lipsey’s Vice President and Product Development Manager, to immediately get behind the project. “When Andrew Gore from Smith & Wesson asked me if Lipsey’s was interested in an SOA edition to raise money for these American heroes, I was all in. Using the Ultimate Carry as the platform for this project made it a guaranteed winner. ”
