Lexington, KY: Buds Guns Shop & Range, one of the country’s leading retailers of firearms, ammunition, and accessories, announces that Mark Stecher has joined the company to serve as President and Chief Operating Officer. In this new role, Stecher will assist CEO Joe Murphy across all areas of the company.
Stecher has a diverse background of experiences having held leadership positions in large companies such as Procter and Gamble, as well as leading two mid-sized businesses in the Health Care industry. He then pivoted out of business to start six city-wide ministries in the Cincinnati area, and then led all the sites for Crossroads Church.
“I've known Mark for eight years and observed him having two primary strengths, developing organizations and developing people,” said Murphy. “I am truly looking forward to Mark bringing his extensive business knowledge and leadership skills to the Buds team. As we work to grow our business, support our partners, and provide great customer service, having the right members on our team is vital to our success.”

Stecher has been married to his wife Laurie for 35 years, and they have three adult children, two daughters-in-law, and two grandsons.
