Mpho Tjiane to Bring Expertise as Safari Club International’s Africa Liaison

Safari Club International (SCI) is proud to announce that Mpho Tjiane, an authority in wildlife conservation and hunting regulations, is joining SCI as its hunting liaison for Africa. As an expert with over 13 years of experience and a distinguished CITES focal point for South Africa, Mpho has been instrumental in shaping policies that balance ethical hunting with biodiversity conservation.

Mpho’s extensive work in CITES compliance, trophy import/export regulations, and environmental legislation has positioned him as a critical voice in global conservation efforts. His role in coordinating national and international hunting regulations has strengthened sustainable hunting frameworks, ensuring responsible wildlife management across Africa and beyond.
