West Plains, Missouri - After 24 years with Hunter's Specialties®, Legends of the Outdoors™ Hall-of-Famer Alex Rutledge has joined the team at Rutt and Strutt Outfitters®!

Rutledge formally announced the move this morning, saying: "I'll be forever grateful to everyone at Hunter's Specialties®, they gave me my start, they stood by me, and together we had an incredible run. I'm making the move to Rutt and Strutt Outfitters®, after a great deal of thought and prayer. For myself, and for my family, this is the right move...it's a phenomenal opportunity with a young company filled with ambition and great ideas...it just feels right, and I know God wants me here."

Rutledge addressed his current relationship with Hunter's Specialties®, stating: "Things are great between myself and everyone over there. There are no hard feelings, they didn't ask me to go, and I believe we'll still do some work together in the future. I didn't make the decision to leave HS, I made the decision to join Rutt and Strutt Outfitters®."

This week, Rutledge will join the Rutt and Strutt Outfitters® team in attendance at the ATA trade show, in Columbus, Ohio.
