Bear Archery, a nationally recognized leader in innovative archery products, has an opportunity for an experienced design engineer at its Evansville, Indiana, engineering center. As part of the engineering team, you will work in conjunction with product managers, and the sales staff to design compound bows, components, and archery accessories. Your well developed engineering skills will support your ability to plan, coordinate and perform conceptual and detail design work to support new product introductions or modifications to existing product lines. A BS degree in mechanical engineering will be complemented by demonstrated verbal and communication skills, knowledge of Solid Works 2010 and the ability to translate concepts into cost effective detailed designs. Your experience will include supporting designs through production tooling, qualification testing, and manufacturing introduction.
