The Arkansas Game and Fish Commission is accepting applications through Dec. 31 for conservation scholarships for the 2026-27 academic year. Any Arkansas resident majoring in a conservation-related field and attending an Arkansas college or university is eligible to apply.

Hillsdale College announces that Madeline Corbin, Luciana Kern, and Marin McKinney have been awarded the Ladies for Liberty Shooting Scholarship, a half-tuition scholarship reserved for female students who are members the Hillsdale College Shotgun Team.
Samin Yasar is the recipient of Georgia Southern University®’s third annual Yamaha Rightwaters™ Conservation Scholarship. Supported by an ongoing endowment from Yamaha Rightwaters, the scholarship awards $5K annually to a student who exhibits outstanding efforts and commitment to improve coastal sustainability.
NSSF® has awarded $50,000 in scholarship funds to 20 students in its essay contest open to employees of Patron Member companies and their family members. To earn one of the 20 scholarships offered, employees of NSSF Patron Member companies or their qualified family members submitted applications and essays.

Federal Ammunition recently awarded the 2025 Tom Knapp Memorial Scholarships to two 4-H shooting sports teen ambassadors: Lucy Evans from Georgia and John Bruner from Pennsylvania. The scholarships were presented to the recipients at the National 4H Shooting Sports Invitational held in Grand Island, Nebraska, June 23-27.
Cannon Leatherman, of Concord, North Carolina, is the recipient of the 2025 Susie Konkel Ducks Unlimited (DU) National Scholarship. Cannon, who joined the DU Charlotte Youth Varsity Chapter in 2023, was the co-chairman in 2024. Over two years, he helped lead this team by hosting two fundraising events that raised over $65,000 for wetland conservation.

The Association of Collegiate Anglers, in working with the Ely family and Bass Pro Shops/White River Marine Group, announces the Travis Ely Memorial Scholarship. Ely passed away in a car accident on October 16, 2023 while returning back to school from a bass fishing tournament.

Nicholas Leon of Coral Gables, Florida, is the recipient of the 2024 Susie Konkel Ducks Unlimited (DU) National Scholarship. Nicholas started the South Florida Varsity Ducks Unlimited Chapter in 2022, recruiting over 140 student volunteers by combining three neighboring schools into the fold. He helped lead this team by hosting three fundraising events that raised over $160,000 for wetlands conservation.

The Ike Foundation conducted a blind review of all applications and essays and scored submissions based on a pre-defined point system. Each winner will be receiving a $2,200 Ike Foundation® College Scholarship to the college of their choice.
