(Accokeek, MD) Beretta USA is pleased to announce its support of the 6th Annual ‘She Never Quit’ Charity Event, hosted by the Women’s Outdoor Media Association (WOMA) and the WOMA Foundation, as a Platinum Level sponsor. This women-only annual event will be hosted at the Trinity Oaks Charity Thumbtack Ranch located 90 miles south of San Antonio in Batesville, Texas from October 15 to 18.
The ‘She Never Quit’ Charity Event seeks to raise funds for veterans, law enforcement, military servicemen and women, and meet the needs of terminally ill hunters.
“Beretta USA is proud to partner with the WOMA Foundation and this year’s ‘She Never Quit’ event. Women have always been an integral part of the shooting sports, hunting, and personal protection marketplace, and we are excited to introduce these women to the Beretta family of products and help foster their love of the outdoors,” Brenda Morgal, Marketing Operations and Event Manager, said.
Event attendees will participate in hands-on firearm training (pistol, rifle, and shotgun) from the industry’s best female trainers, including Team Beretta’s Lanny Barnes. Barnes is a three-time Olympian in the sport of Biathlon and a Professional 3-Gun competitor. Lanny grew up shooting small bore competitions as well as hunting and fishing in Colorado. She claims that biathlon has made her a better hunter, and hunting has made her a better biathlete and shooter. She can accurately shoot a rifle with a heart rate of 180 beats per minute and effortlessly pursue elk above 10,000ft.
Barnes now professionally competes in regional and national 3-gun competitions, where she has made the 3GN Pro Series and won 4 major High Lady match titles.
Throughout this event, attendees will also enjoy meals and lodging at the Trinity Oaks Thumbtack Ranch for three days of exciting outdoor activities, including fishing, archery, hatchet throwing, and more. Additionally, the ladies’ will have an opportunity to bid during two auctions (one silent and the other one live) on various great products ranging from firearms to gun cleaning gear and everything in-between. All proceeds from the auctions will benefit veterans’ charities, such as the Foundation for Women Warriors, Team Never Quit, Wreaths Across America, and some of the ongoing programs at the Thumbtack Ranch.
