Who: California Resources Agency Secretary Mike Chrisman, DFG Director L. Ryan Broddrick and Fish and Game Commissioner Jim Kellogg.
What: Celebration of California's "100 Years of Conservation" through the redesign of the state's hunting license. Secretary Chrisman, Director Broddrick, and Commissioner Kellogg will purchase their hunting licenses and will be available for interviews.
Licenses, valid July 1, 2007 - June 30, 2008, are now available for sale. The Centennial California Hunting License features a retro design inspired by some of California's original pictorial hunting licenses.
An original 1907 hunting license will be on display at the May 10 event along with other vintage pictorial licenses from the early 1900s. Historic photos of some of DFG's earliest wildlife conservation activities will also be on display.
