Dead Air Silencers Attends 2026 Connecticut SWAT Challenge

Dead Air Silencers will be exhibiting at the 2026 Connecticut SWAT Challenge, taking place August 10–13 at the Hartford Gun Club in East Granby, Connecticut. Recognized as one of the leading tactical competitions in the country, the event draws teams from military branches, federal agencies, and law enforcement organizations, including Homeland Security, the Department of Energy, and SWAT units from across the United States. Each team will face an intense lineup of realistic scenarios designed to evaluate physical endurance, tactical decision-making, marksmanship, medical response, and team coordination under pressure. The challenge provides agencies with an opportunity to refine operational skills while recognizing the nation's most capable tactical teams.

Dead Air will be on-site with their latest suppressor technology designed to enhance training, safety, and operational effectiveness, including the new CT5P suppressor.

Designed specifically for patrol officers and tactical teams running semi-automatic 5.56 NATO duty rifles, the CT5P delivers mission-ready performance in a compact, hard-use package. Built using additive manufacturing and a fixed rear adapter, the CT5P eliminates the HUB interface to achieve a shorter, lighter profile while maintaining durability for full-auto fire and meeting SOCOM SURG testing standards. Its advanced Triskelion® baffle design and Gas Management System (GMS) significantly reduce backpressure and gas blowback, ensuring reliable operation on direct impingement and piston-driven rifles chambered in 5.56 NATO or 6mm ARC.

The suppressor also minimizes muzzle flash and spark, helping preserve an operator's night vision during low-light operations while reducing visible heat signature. Engineered to keep impulse noise below OSHA 1910.95 standards without sacrificing reliability, the CT5P enhances communication and threat awareness in close quarters. Weighing just 13 ounces and measuring 5.5 inches long, it is available in black or FDE Cerakote with direct-thread, Xeno, or KeyMo mounting options.

Dead Air representatives will be available throughout the event to answer questions, discuss suppressor technology, and demonstrate how modern suppressors enhance safety, training, and mission performance.
