LINCOLN, Neb. - Buffalo Bill Ranch State Historical Park re-opened for visitors Aug. 22, according to the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission. The park closed at the beginning of June in anticipation of flooding of the North Platte River, which has subsided.
The park, located north of North Platte in Lincoln County, is open daily from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. From Sept. 6-Oct. 21, it will be open 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday through Friday. A park entry permit is required.
The state recreation area remains closed.
