PHOENIX –  Get ready to take camping to a new level with the brand-new cabins now available for reservation at Lost Dutchman and Patagonia Lake state parks! Grand opening weekend is August 3-5, and the cabins are being offered at special introductory rates for stays from now until October 31, 2018.

The new camping cabins are located with the best views in the parks, at the base of the Superstition Mountains in Lost Dutchman and near the water at Patagonia Lake, and each have space to sleep up to six people, with a fire ring, picnic table, and ramada right outside. Each cabin is also wheelchair-friendly, with accessibility to restrooms and parking. 

Although these are dry cabins, restroom facilities are located just steps away. Plus, the solar cooling and heating makes your stay comfortable any time of year! Make your reservation at one of the new cabins today and get out and explore the parks. Camping cabins at both parks have a two-night minimum stay on weekends.

“These brand-new, beautiful cabins come equipped with amazing views and air conditioning,” said Arizona State Parks and Trails Executive Director Sue Black. “We want to encourage more people to give camping a chance and experience adventures in Arizona’s state parks with these highly-anticipated cabins."

Arizona's state parks provide perfect destinations for family camping adventures without the need for an RV or tent. New cabins at Lost Dutchman and Patagonia Lake state parks offer a comfortable stay in the heart of these amazing outdoor destinations. The newly-built cabins feature a queen bed with mattress and two pairs of bunk beds with mattresses. Campers supply their own linens or sleeping bags.
