Auctions Yield More than $67,000 in Support of Shooting and Hunting Sports Heritage

Las Vegas, NV-The auction of the first-ever Hornady Manufacturing Company rifle, a one-of-a kind Ross Tyser Bowie knife and a pair of Phil Robertson-signed Mossberg shotguns auctioned for more than $67,000 in the 2015 SHOT Show auction, featured exclusively on GunBroker.com.

Bidding on the 2015 SHOT auction items was driven by the powerful GunBroker.com user base of more than 3.2 million registered users.

"The Hornady Number One"--leading all bidding was $61,325.00 for "The Hornady Number One, the first firearm ever manufactured in Hornady Manufacturing's legendary history. Hornady teamed with the Hunting Heritage Trust and some of the most innovative and respected names in the shooting sports industry to create "The Hornady Number One", a hunting-style bolt action in .300 RCM caliber with serial number H-001.

Duck Commander Signature Mossberg Shotguns- a pair of signed Mossberg Duck Commander Model 930 Signature shotguns auctioned for $5,026.00. Duck Commander Icon and Robertson Family Patriarch, Phil Robertson, hunted every day of the 2013-14 Louisiana waterfowl season with his Signature Series Mossberg Model 930. He signed and donated the well-used Model 930 to the SHOT Show Auction. In addition to Robertson's signed Duck Commander 930, the SHOT Show auction package also included a new 2015 Mossberg DC Pro Series 930, also signed by Robertson.

Ross Tyser "Bull-Elk Bowie" Knife-No knife maker has created more knives for the SHOT Show auction than South Carolina custom knife maker, Ross Tyser, and his 2015 creation auctioned for $1,600.00. Tyser created a Bull Elk-themed Bowie knife for the 2015 auction, commenting "The Bull elk is without doubt one of our most majestic big game animals and we selected a large Bowie pattern to carry the Bull Elk theme."

Century International Rifles & Pistols-Two additional auctions of special Century International "Made-in- America By You" rifles and "First-in America" pistols are still active on GunBroker.com and are poised to raise thousands more in support of America's hunting and shooting sports heritage.

The 2015 auction marked the 12th consecutive year that the auction was presented exclusively on GunBroker.com, the world's largest internet auction site for firearms and related outdoor equipment.
