Scientists at the Alaska Fisheries Science Center's Auke Bay Laboratories have released a Handy Field Guide to the Nearshore Marine Fishes of Alaska. The free, photo-rich guide serves as a tool for identifying the nearshore fishes of Alaska without going through extensive taxonomic keys in the field.
