Venture to Van Riper State Park to learn the basics of kayaking. We will talk about different types of kayaks as well as safety and techniques while kayaking. We will meet on the beach and once we have down the basics we will go for a paddle on Lake Michigamme. Weather permitting, call to sign up 906-339-4461; equipment available to the first 12 registrants, those under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
