Kara's HoPE Ed Brown Special Forces SR Raffle

Guns for a Cause is currently hosting a fundraising raffle featuring a Special Forces SR (Suppressor Ready) 1911 from Ed Brown. This pistol has an MSRP of $3,995 but raffle tickets are only $20 each. Proceeds benefit Kara's HoPE, and their program to assist families with children who are struggling with a terminal brain disorder known as Holoprosencephaly. For info on the event and the organization, see https://www.gunsforacause.org/karashope/edbrown/. Hurry though, this event closes Sunday evening, July the 10th.

From the Ed Brown website:

The Special Forces SR pistol from Ed Brown is built for pure performance and extreme use. We started with our government model frame with integral light rail, and added a fully blended magwell for a smooth fit and quick magazine changes. Ready for use with a suppressor, our threaded barrel is standard on this model. The slide features front and rear cocking serrations and is complete with a Trijicon RMR (Ruggedized Miniature Reflex) sight, which is the most rugged miniature red dot sight available, and has the versatility to be used in any lighting condition. Trijicon tall iron night sights complete the sight set up, providing the perfect backup sight system. A unique and highly durable Chainlink III pattern provides a secure grip for severe applications. Whether you're shooting for pleasure, or for tactical use, the Special Forces SR has everything you need for serious peformance in a dedicated suppressor 1911 pistol.

There will be a strict limit of only 2,500 tickets available. We expect this event to sell out for this highly sought-after custom pistol package. The Ed Brown, "Special Forces SR" 1911 .45 pistol retails for nearly $4,000. Tickets for this event are just $20 and will be available only through 11:00 pm (Eastern) on the 10th of July, 2016.

We will draw a winner on Monday, the 11th of July, 2016. A cash alternative prize will be made available to participants in California, or any other jurisdiction where this specific firearm may be prohibited.
