Miami International Boat Show Gets Underway Today

More than 100,000 boating enthusiasts from around the globe cruise to Miami over President’s Day weekend for the Progressive® Insurance Miami International Boat Show, presented by West Marine, to enjoy the five biggest days in boating. From hundreds of world boat and yacht debuts, to the newest industry technologies – from green/fuel-efficient innovations, to automated docking and virtual anchoring – the Miami Boat Show is THE place to explore and purchase the newest and best in boating products.

Cigarette unveils two show-stoppers - celebrating 50 years with 1st-of-its-kind six-engine new model, plus latest concept boat with Mercedes AMG, Pier 2

1st PWC-fishing vessel hybrid: Sea-Doo launches the Fish Pro 155 – $15,000 PWC, Booth F145, Tent F

  • Sea-doo will showcase the first and only personal watercraft (PWC) built specifically from the factory for sport fishing. The Sea-Doo FISH PRO makes fishing more accessible, as it’s smaller than traditional boats making it easier to store, easier to tow, easier to launch and load, and easier to clean and maintain, and arguably easier to afford. Regulator launches first crossover center console boat, the 26XO, Pier 4

Assisted Docking, Virtual Anchoring from Mercury Marine, Pier 2

1st look at Raymarine DockSense – Prestige Yachts to Demonstrate New Automated Docking Technology, Pier 6

  • The Raymarine DockSense Solution system is designed to augment a captain's boat handling skills using the system’s Virtual Bumper™ zone technology around the vessel, and will be demonstrated aboard the Prestige 460 yacht. VETUS Maxwell Showcases Energy Efficient BOW PRO Thrusters, Tent E

  • The innovative BOW PRO range, including the new BOW PRO Boosted, combines VETUS’s highly-regarded electric thruster technology with its extremely quiet RimDrive, to provide near silent operation and precision proportional control.
