ZEISS Launches Hunting Campaign

New campaign proves reliability and ruggedness of ZEISS optics in real-life situations

Thornwood, NY –

Out in the field, hunting conditions are often harsh. For hunters, two qualities are universally important: Reliability and Ruggedness. ZEISS has placed these attributes at the center of the most comprehensive campaign in its history, which is officially launching this August.

Rain, heat, snow or ice - hunting optics must operate flawlessly while in the field and function in every hunting condition. And that’s exactly what avid sportsmen can find at ZEISS.

However, weather-related factors are not all that hunters face when afield. “Hunting environments also include rough fields, jagged rocks and dangerous terrain, which make product impacts and shocks caused by falls and accidents an important consideration,” explains Robert Pignataro, General Manager of Carl Zeiss SBE, LLC. “Dirt roads and mountain trails can subject optics to continuous vibration and abuse while traveling to and from the field; in these situations, extreme durability of your optics is paramount.”

The new international communication campaign illustrates how ZEISS subjects its products to numerous lab tests that simulate and exceed the actual stresses and abuses experienced in real-life hunting environments to further guarantee product performance and reliability.

“For over 170 years, ZEISS has been manufacturing premium optical products that stand out due to their optical excellence, technical innovations and outstanding ergonomics.

Precision in design, the best materials and uncompromising craftsmanship go into every optic we produce,” states Pignataro. ” We will create more consumer awareness and prove why ZEISS products are in many ways far superior for in-the-field applications when compared with other optics brands.”

The campaign will be promoted nationwide through print, film and digital channels to maximize consumer awareness and engagement. These mediums will clearly illustrate the various applications, benefits and options within the ZEISS Sports Optics product line.
