Introducing Xero X1i crossbow scope with built-in laser range finder
First of its kind optical hunting technology leaves guesswork behind
OLATHE, Kan./November 10, 2020/Outdoor Wire – Garmin® International, Inc., a unit of Garmin Ltd. (NASDAQ: GRMN), today introduced the Garmin Xero® X1i, an electro-optic based crossbow scope with built-in laser range finder that offers the most advanced crossbow aiming platform on the market. With 3.5x magnification and digital overlay to automatically measure the distance to a target, Xero X1i can range game targets up to 250 yards away and reflective targets up to 500 yards away.
“Garmin is proud to pioneer the best crossbow aiming solution available to hunters today. Xero X1i crossbow scope isn’t a step forward; it is a leap forward for crossbow hunters who demand the most out of their hunting systems,” said Dan Bartel, vice president of global consumer sales. “Xero X1i users will aim with confidence knowing that every shot they take is backed up by years of research and development.”
Built from a rugged aluminum housing, the Xero X1i provides state-of-the-art scope features for a revolutionary interactive aiming experience. Premium nitrogen-filled optics offer a clear and crisp edge-to-edge field of view, and a multi-color digital display provides details such as aim points, compass, horizontal level gauge, string counter, roll at shot, impulse duration and flight apex.
Designed for quick, user-friendly setup, the Xero X1i contains intuitive, on-device instructions allowing most hunters to be field-ready in as little as 20 minutes. Once the 20-yard aim point is set, an auto-calibration feature uses the bow’s speed and algorithms to provide the remaining aim points out to 80 yards. Increased ranges can be calibrated, if desired.
To start aiming, users press and hold a silent, custom-mounted wired trigger or a laser trigger located on top of the scope housing. As crosshairs key in on the target, a digital compass and angle display provide real-time updates. Accurate ranges to within 0.1 yard will immediately appear, and when repeated ranges are received the device will indicate a “target lock.” As the trigger releases, the Xero X1i provides a single pin aim point for exact shot placement, as well as compass heading, line of sight distance, angle compensated distance and angle to target.
Xero X1i advanced features include:
Xero X1i is water rated to IPX72 and built to withstand all hunting conditions. The unit runs on two AAA lithium batteries (included) which provide up to one year of battery life. Out of the box, the Xero X1i is compatible with nearly all crossbow rail mounting systems. The Xero X1i is available now for the suggested retail price of $1399.99. For those wanting the ultimate in crossbow performance, Xero X1i scopes are also available with TenPoint’s Vapor RS470 Xero X1i package.
