Covington, GA - Arrow Dynamics, LLC dba Swhacker Broadheads has announced the release of the Levi Morgan Signature Series broadheads, designed in coordination with 12-time Shooter of the Year and host of Bowlife TV, Levi Morgan. The all new series, which includes three individual broadhead designs, will be launched at the 2019 ATA Show, held in Louisville, KY January 10th-12th.
“I’ve been shooting Swhacker broadheads for as long as I can remember now, and I’ve built a lifetime of confidence in the overall design and brand,“ said Morgan. “Coming from a competition archery background, I’m very picky when it comes tuning and accuracy and the Swhacker designs are second-to-none.”
Leading off the new series, in an eye-catching electric blue, is the Signature Series #261. The 100 grain expandable features an all new ferrule design, engineered with reinforced ribs, providing up to 20% greater rigidity and strength to its aerodynamic shape. The #261 features uniquely arched stainless-steel main blades, which help reduce blade resistance after opening internally, thereby allowing the arrow to retain greater momentum and leading to better pass through performance. The #261 is 1-inch in flight and provides a 2-inch cutting diameter after the main blades deploy, internally.
Unlike any other Swhacker expandable before it, the #261 features ALL NEW blade lock technology. The design allows the expandable blades to be locked in the closed position, so archers can practice with the exact head they will be hunting with in the field. It’s finetuning at its finest. When ready to hunt, the locking set screw is removed from the blade lock position and a shrink band is installed on the broadhead.
The Levi Morgan Signature Series also includes a power-packed 100 grain 3-blade fixed broadhead that delivers field-point accuracy and devasting wound channels. Co-designed by Levi Morgan and Swhacker originator and aerospace engineer, Rick Forrest, the Signature Series #262 sets a new standard in 3-blade fixed design, featuring a bone-crushing chisel tip and 1.25” cutting diameter.
Rounding out the series is the 125 grain expandable, built from solid 420 stainless steel. The Signature Series #263, a favorite of Morgan’s for spot-and-stalk hunts and long-distance shooting, sports stainless steel blades and a 1.75” cutting diameter. And, like all Swhacker expandables, features the original two-slice technology; wingblades take on the first layer of hide and bone, causing the fresh, razor sharp main blades to deploy internally, making quick work of vital organs. The #264, the twin to the all-steel #263, offers deep six threads.
“The solid 420 steel ferrules on the #263 and #264 are absolutely tough as nails and they fly like darts,” proclaimed Morgan.
