Patty Reel to Serve as South Carolina S3DA State Conservation Coordinator

Williamsburg, KY – Scholastic 3-D Archery is proud to announce Patty Reel as the South Carolina S3DA State Conservation Coordinator. Patty will work alongside South Carolina State Coordinator, Sheila Tadlock to provide S3DA members across the state with archery, hunting, and conservation-related activities. Patty has been a part of the hunting industry since 2014. She currently holds several staff positions for Prois, Lumenok, Black Widow Deer Lures, and Fish Hunter Enterprise. Patty stated, “I am a certified Fresh Water Fishing Instructor for South Carolina DNR. My passion is to mentor on fishing trips and hunts. I am excited to share my love of the outdoors with the future generations.”

Patty grew up in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains in a city called Seneca, South Carolina. Her love for hunting began by following her dad and his two rabbit dogs, Joe and Queen, on hunts. In October 2008, Patty married her husband, Brian, who introduced her to archery and bowhunting. Patty and Brian celebrated their honeymoon by going on a deer hunt together.

Patty and her husband currently reside in Townville, South Carolina with their eight dogs. Together, Brian and Patty raised her two girls, Leslie and Lauren, and are proud grandparents to Skyler and Lawson, who are current S3DA members of the Palmetto Center Seekers S3DA club.

Patty intends to reach out to various organizations across South Carolina and bring more conservation awareness to the South Carolina S3DA program. Patty and Sheila are working together to present South Carolina S3DA archery and conservation at the Palmetto Sportsmen’s Classic in Columbia, SC on March 25th-27th, 2022. She is currently advertising a Myrtle Beach Fishing Tour in Murrells Inlet, South Carolina for April 10th, 2022, and encourages any South Carolina S3DA members to participate. There will be three tours available (8AM, Noon, and 3PM) to fish, mainly for shark, but everyone participating will get the opportunity to see lots of sea life.

About Scholastic 3-D Archery

Scholastic 3-D Archery (S3DA) is a unique, family-oriented youth archery program which has grown exponentially across the United States as a next-step initiative to follow introductory archery programs. The mission of the Scholastic

3-D Archery program is to foster, educate and guide youth in the areas of 3D, indoor target, and outdoor target archery as well as safe, ethical bowhunting practices. The goal of the S3DA program is to provide archery and bowhunting opportunities to youth in after-school settings, as well as with archery-affiliated clubs and businesses in the community. S3DA youth participate in 3-D and target archery using compound and traditional archery equipment. Youth members can participate at regional, state and national archery events and earn college scholarships from colleges and universities across the United States. S3DA addresses the need for a program to bridge beginning target archery experience and more advanced activities such as 3-D shooting and bowhunting. The program currently operates across the United States with hundreds of certified coaches serving thousands of youth archers.
