Taurus® is pleased to announce the recent hiring of Laura Ann Truax to the position of Sales Data Analyst.

Ms. Truax will be responsible for collecting and analyzing industry data which will serve Taurus in evaluating existing and potential new products, markets, sales outlets and overall business opportunities. She will assist the sales and marketing teams with valuable research on economic and industry growth trends and conditions.

Ms. Truax comes to Taurus from Brandt Information Services, provider of technology solutions for local, state, and Federal agencies, including GoOutdoors hunting and fishing licensing procurement systems and quota hunt and lottery management. While at Brandt Information Services, Ms. Truax was responsible designing and implementing fulfillment system optimizations, program updating, business analysis, and delivering customer-centric solutions.

“Having someone in place specifically to analyze market trends and sales numbers will be a huge benefit to our customer as well as our internal team,” states Carlos Vazquez-Pausa, VP of Sales. “With Laura joining our team we will be able to focus on dealer and consumer initiatives. Her broad technical skill sets and background in the outdoor consumer segment will serve Taurus well as the company moves forward with enhanced distributor and consumer services in our upcoming relocation to the new Bainbridge, Georgia, facility.”

An alumnus of Florida State University, Ms. Truax holds a BS in Computer Science with minors in Mathematics and Physics. She is fluent in multiple programming languages and IDEs.
