Sparta, Wisconsin - Team Mathews finishes the indoor competition season strong with two 1st Place finishes in the Men’s Pro and Senior Pro divisions at the NFAA Indoor National Championship located in Louisville, KY.
After an exciting weekend at the Kentucky International Convention Center, Pro Shooter Levi Reitsma locked in a 1st place finish in the Men’s Pro Division, becoming the 2023 National Champion at his first ever NFAA Indoor National Championship. Joining him at the top of the podiums is Pro Shooter, Randy Morocco, who finished in 1st place in the Senior Pro Division and became the first Senior Pro to ever shoot 120x’s at the NFAA Nationals.
“The NFAA Indoor National Championship was a great finish to the indoor season for Team Mathews,” stated Mathews Pro Staff Manager, Derek Phillips. “Both Mathews Pro Morocco and Reitsma have been shooting great all season long and closed the season out with impressive wins”.
In addition to a great showing at the NFAA Nationals, Mathews Shooter Isaac Sullivan claimed Gold in the US Archery Indoor Finals which also took place in Louisville this weekend. This event is also the final indoor event of the year for US Archery and is a result of qualifying scores at multiple events around the US with the best archers competing in the final head-to-head competition where Sullivan secured another victory for Team Mathews.
