KEENE, NH - The new Hannibal Rail from Samson Manufacturing completes your Ruger® Mini-14® or Mini Thirty® with a precision machined direct optic mount solution.

For the first time, Ruger® Mini-14® or Mini Thirty® owners can directly mount a micro red dot forward of the action, without the need for a Picatinny rail clamp adapter. The integrated Picatinny rail on the Hannibal Rail topside is perfect for mounting any accessory while providing a more tactical look. The included 2" Picatinny rail and QD swivel mount can be attached to the side of the Hannibal Rail for even more accessory mounting options.

The Hannibal Rail replaces the factory plastic handguard, and mounts directly to barrel, allowing the use of most aftermarket Mini-14® stocks. Compatible with Samson’s A-TM Folding Stocks, this version is currently footprinted for the Vortex Optics Venom. Additional optic footprint options are on the drawing board.

IMPORTANT: This version of the Hannibal Rail fits most Mini-14® or Mini-Thirty® rifles with a factory flanged barrel manufactured in 2008 or later and with serial numbers beginning with 580 and higher. It will NOT work with the older factory straight pencil barrel. Refer to Ruger’s serial number lookup on their website if you are unsure what year your rifle was manufactured.

Due to the low iron sights on this rifle platform, optimal co-witness with a micro red dot cannot be achieved (trust us, we tried).
