Fire N The Hole mechanical broadhead design allows you to make hard quartering shots. Utilizing a cut on contact designed blade, the Slang Blade makes hard quartering shots with ease.
Mechanical broadhead designs over the years have been known for certain performance issues. Opening when they shouldn’t. Not opening when the should. Durability. And not being able to make hard quartering shots. All of those issues have been solved with the design of the 4 inch Slang Blade by Fire N The Hole.
The hard quartering shot is hard if not impossible for some mechanical designs. Many designs use a flat, blunt triggering mechanism which opens to the side of the ferrule. These designs work well when the animal is broadside. Add some angle to the position of the animal and these designs start to lose their effectiveness. The more angle you add to the shot the less affective they become.
Fire N The Hole has solved the hard quartering shot issue by using cut on contact single beveled blades. The design of these blades allows them to engage the animal and start cutting in at any angle. As the point of the blades come in contact the blades stab into the animal. The angle on the front of the blade makes the blade slab in and cut to the side or open. Each blade is independent of each other so they can open fully by themselves. No matter what angle the blades engage the animal they will slab in, cut to the side, and open to that incredible 4 ich span.
