NWTF Launches New Website to Amplify Mission

EDGEFIELD, S.C. —“New Look, Same Mission,” is the theme of many of the National Wild Turkey Federation’s changes under its brand evolution, and the same is true for the new and improved www.nwtf.org.

The NWTF’s website has an increased emphasis on user experience while showcasing conservation efforts and a lifestyle that promotes Healthy Habitats. Healthy Harvests.

“Our vision is to deliver a cleaner, mobile friendly website — a platform that amplifies our brand, is appealing to all those who appreciate the outdoors and provides familiar content to our current base,” NWTF Co-CEO Jason Burckhalter said. “We hope you will enjoy all the new features, great content and easier access to information about your membership and state and local chapters.”

While continuing to provide information NWTF members have grown to love and expect ? listing of upcoming events, conservation and hunting articles, the resource library and more — the new and improved website includes:

  • real-time updates of on-the-ground conservation delivery.
  • ways to get more involved in the mission.
  • easier access to membership data.
  • chapter pages for state and local levels.
  • an increased emphasis on our cherished outdoor lifestyle.

About the National Wild Turkey Federation

When the National Wild Turkey Federation was founded in 1973, there were about 1.3 million wild turkeys in North America. After decades of work, that number hit a historic high of almost 7 million turkeys. To succeed, the NWTF stood behind science-based conservation and hunters' rights. Today, the NWTF is focused on the future of hunting and conservation through its Save the Habitat. Save the Hunt. initiative. Since 2012, this 10-year initiative has already eclipsed goals of conserving or enhancing more than 4 million acres of essential wildlife habitat, recruiting or retaining more than 1.5 million hunters and opening access to more than 500,000 acres for hunting and other recreation opportunities. This critical work will continue to impact wildlife habitat and our great outdoors in the final year of the initiative.
