(Grand Island, Nebr.) — Hornady® congratulates sponsored shooter Lauryl Akenhead for her performance at the 2024 International Precision Rifle Federation World Championship at the Cameo Shooting Centre in Grand Junction, Colorado on September 12-17, 2024.
Akenhead won the Ladies Division shooting Hornady 6mm 110 gr. A-Tip Match bullets.
“The 2024 IPRF World Championships really tested the shooters with diverse stages and shifting winds,” said Akenhead. “The A-Tip bullets performed so consistently well, giving me the edge and securing the top spot in my division,” she added.
A-Tip® Match bullets feature an aluminum tip that’s precision machined and longer than polymer tips, that moves the center of gravity and enhances inflight stability, resulting in tighter groups and reduced drag variability. In addition, A-Tip bullets are sequentially packaged for the ultimate in consistent performance.
The IPRF aims to unify the sport of Precision Rifle worldwide and set standards for competition internationally to enable a level field of play at Regional and World Championships. Originating in 2019, the IPRF has grown in leaps and bounds with nations committing to set up their international structures as the precision rifle sport matures in each country.
Growing globally, the IPRF has competitors from five continents and 25 participating countries.
