Sure-Shot Game Calls, Savage Arms, Otis, Bergara, CVA and Fiocchi Join Growing List of Shooting Sports Showcase Sponsors
Sure-Shot Game Calls and Savage Arms have the distinction of being among the first sponsors of the inaugural Shooting Sports Showcase set for March 8 at the Civilian Marksmanship Program’s Talladega Marksmanship Park in Talladega, AL. In addition to showcasing new products, Sure-Shot and Savage will sponsor registration. Other big names have signed on as well. Otis Technology is the event’s sanitizer sponsor and Fiocchi is the ammunition sponsor. Bergara and CVA are premiere sponsors for the long-distance range.
Recognizing the importance of maintaining marketing efforts and communications within the firearms industry during a time of limited gatherings, Sure-Shot President Charlie Holder said, “Due to the pandemic, almost every opportunity to be outdoors with large groups, exhibit at expos, and network in person, has been canceled for the foreseeable future. This event is a much-needed opportunity to get reconnected with industry insiders.”
Representatives from Savage Arms will promote the new Impulse rifle at the Showcase. Director of Marketing Beth Shimanski said, “Savage has recently launched some innovative new products, and getting them in the hands of shooters is crucial. An event like this allows us to continue our education on these new models and showcase their performance. The new American-made straight-pull rifle, Impulse, will be the featured model for us at this event. We can’t wait for people to get their hands on this new series of rifles.”
Hosted by the Professional Outdoor Media Association, the Southeastern Outdoor Press Association, and the National Association of Sporting Goods Wholesalers, this industry-exclusive event is designed to give firearms industry representatives a day to showcase new products to members of the media, dealers, and wholesalers. More than two dozen media members have already registered and, in addition to Sure-Shot and Savage, some other leading exhibitors include Bangers USA, Bergara, Bowden Tactical, Century Arms, CVA, Fiocchi, Glock, Leupold, Mantis, Seismic Ammo, and more.
